Community Education Events

What:  Community Education Events are public talks to bring the community together to learn more about a topic that is relevant for the children, youth and families who are part of our program!

When:  Community Education Events may occur 2 times per calendar year.

Where:  Ralph Fisher Auditorium, Richmond Hospital (7000 Westminster Highway) unless otherwise indicated.  Free parking and child-minding available.

Who:  Anyone is welcome to attend these free public talks – whether you’re a client of our program, interested in learning more about our program, or the topic just interests you!

Presenters are often experts in areas related to child development, mental health and illness, parenting, etc.

Why:  These nights offer community members the opportunity to learn more about a range of topics that are relevant for families affected by parental mental health or addiction concerns.
